I've been painting a lot of flowers lately, so here's a little change of pace. These birds were at our wonderful Brevard Zoo in Melbourne. To quote the zoo website, here is how it all started:

Now we have a state-of-the-art zoo with rhinos, giraffes, meerkats--it's an amazing testament to what community effort can do.

Hi Carmen, lovely birds. Zoos are wonderful. Our local zoo houses all animals that were once injured and have been saved and we have all kinds of birds including eagles, deer, moose, cheetah, wolves, fish, you name it. From tiny to large they are all safe now. I love that they've all been given a new lease on life. I hope you have a beautiful day.
