The Harpist, 11x14 oil on canvas, Figurative Art

This young woman was so beautiful, playing such a graceful instrument, with the light shining through the window. It's so much more attractive than a woman playing, say, a cello or a trombone. However, I do love cello music in spite of the awkward knee placement of the cellist.

This beautiful musician was playing at my beautiful niece's beautiful wedding.

  1. I started the cello... I am not graceful, and the position one plays in, well, it isn't very ladylike. Harps are so ethereal, but very impractical and definitely hard to move around!
