I painted this from a photo I have had for over twenty years. This is my granddaughter with one of the multitude of passionflowers we used to have in our yard, until we found they all ended up in the pool. I miss the days when my grandchildren were babies, and I miss our arbor being covered with passionflower vines, thick with sweet-smelling flowers.

30 Faces in 30 Days: Day 4
If there's anything harder than drawing a perfect woman, it's drawing a baby. Babies are so new, so flawless, and so soft. She's probably thinking, "I wish someone would take this ridiculous bow off my head."
