I see this quirky plant as a lady with flyaway hair and modestly folded arms. My husband sees a woman kneeling on the left, and on the right there is a dog being hugged.
Hydrangeas are very hard to paint. Each one is like a bouquet. They grow in lush profusion in Washington State, in colors I never knew possible. This is the most common Hydrangea, and I like the complementary colors with the lavender and green.
