5-Day Challenge, Day 3: Beach Day, 7x5 Oil on Panel

Before I began this, my third 20-minute painting, I couldn't resist drawing a cartoon about the experience of doing a painting in such a short amount of time.

Crossed Palms Giclee Print, Florida Beach Scene

I'm always painting seascapes, but I like this one where the water is secondary and the dunes and palms are prominent. I'm so lucky to live by the beach.

This painting is sold, but I am offering giclee prints on stretched canvas in my Etsy Shop. Various sizes are available. The prints are on archival canvas and very difficult to tell from an original oil painting.

Sunday at the Beach, 8x6 Oil on Canvas

The beach in Ft Lauderdale was packed with people when we were there, and it was exhilarating to see all the colors and the overall cheery brightness happening. South Florida is so beautiful.

Satellite Beach, 8x6 Oil on Canvas

This is an original oil painting of Satellite Beach, Florida, 8x6, signed and ready to frame. The clouds have been so interesting here lately, because almost every day we get a big rainstorm. Prior to that we have beautiful cloud formations, and at sunset they are tinted with color. Even though the sun sets in the west, the clouds over our beach on the east coast are sometimes painted lightly with very beautiful pinks.
