Onions, 7x5 Oil Painting on Canvas Panel Still Life

The Challenge for this month for the Pieces of 8 group is to paint a painting in 50 strokes. I've been enjoying that exercise. Below is my 50-stroke painting of these onions, smudges and all. I decided to refine it to a finished painting. Which one do you like best? I think the 50-stroke one is more exciting.

Koru, 2x2 Original Oil on Canvas, Still Life Apple Painting

This is a Koru apple. I never heard of this one before, but it sounds Japanese to me.

I found a new artist I like, Richard Robinson from New Zealand. He generously offers free short videos with great tips on painting, and he does luscious landscapes of the beautiful place where he lives. Check him out.

Tomatoes and Garlic, 5x7 Oil on Canvas Original Still Life Painting

Here are two staples of life, tomatoes and garlic. I had an Italian grandmother but she didn't like to cook. She was more of a career woman, darn my bad luck.

I have a new web page that is very user-friendly. Below is a screen shot of my home page. I highly recommend my designer, FileFish Web Design --very affordable and easy to work with.
