I was so lucky to catch this swan in this light. It turned and made a nice swirl in the water, and gave me such a nice composition. Sometimes all you have to do is paint what you see.

The wonderful thing about painting is that you can relive good memories, and this was a really good memory of a trip to France with my sister. In visiting Paris and Versailles, one is so awash in beauty it is almost overwhelming. Even the birds strike a pose, as you can see.
