There are two reasons I like this painting. I love the colors; and I grew the blueberries, which is a bit unusual for Florida. I heard you need two bushes, so I bought another one. Maybe my crop will be bigger next year. Bigger than seven (there's one more berry that you can't see).
Yup you need two for the most yield - good luck! This is a lovely painting and the colors are so appealing! Good luck with your crop - I've had 4 bushes for 6 years and only gotten about a dozen berries - some kind of insect that even the garden centers can't identify gets them!
ReplyDeleteLovely painting, Carmen...not so sure you'll get more berries than that ever. I have two bushes and got about 12 berries the first year, none every year after that and they are now 5 yr. old. I do envy those people who have 10 ft. tall berry bushes that yield buckets.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors and composition.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting! I love blueberries, but haven't had much luck growing them. I think they like acidic soil or something...they grow in bogs and burn areas here in Canada.
ReplyDeleteThis is so fresh and lovely. I've always heard blueberries are difficult to grow.Lucky to have or find them :) This is a gem.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
