A rose is a rose is a hard thing to paint. My painting group had two different bouquets to choose from and I started with the entire rose bouquet until I got hold of myself and narrowed it down to these.
By narrowing one's focus... you actually do the viewer and potential buyer a greater service. As it becomes easier for the potential buyer to 'read' the painting and consider what room the painting would best fit. And some version of red... in this case pink... always attracts the viewer's eye. Wonderful work.
