Heart of the Zinnia, 12x12 Oil Painting

The centers of Zinnias are so interesting. I grew some beautiful Zinnias this year, and after many distractions, interruptions, and the holidays, I finally got this painting finished.

Snowy Farm, oil painting

 Sold

This was the scene one morning at our daughter's home in Pennsylvania. There's nothing like morning light and long shadows.

Are YOU Talking to ME?

This one is for my daughter, who is raising chickens. They are egg layers and pets. Their coop has a chandelier especially for chicken coops.

The Golden Flute

Here's one from the archives. This lovely woman taught at Juilliard, and when she attended our Pen Women meetings she would treat us to a concert. Pen Women is a National organization of writers, artists, and musicians, chock full of talented women.

Outer Bands, 14x11 Original Oil Painting on Canvas

View on Etsy

We were on the Pineda Causeway, crossing the Indian River, when we saw this. It looked the same in every direction. Hurricane Idalia was raging on the western side of the state, and we got this. We were very lucky once again. Other parts of Florida were not so fortunate.

Near the Falls, Original Oil on Canvas, 8x10

 Available on Etsy

There is nothing like painting while sitting on a rock by a stream with the peaceful sound of the water trickling by. A few yards downstream this becomes a surprisingly big waterfall.

Field of Flowers, Original Oil Landscape Painting

I love flowers all kinds. It is so beautiful when they are frolicking together in a field like this.

Grapes are so versatile. Look what we get from them: grape jelly, grape jam, grape juice, vinegar, wine, and raisins; and of course they are delicious just as depicted here.

A Travel Zine for my Sister

It is thanks to my sister that I have traveled so many places and walked so many miles. We have never had a cross word, but we have on occasion laughed until we cried. I made her this little Zine for her birthday, and it brought many happy memories.

Studebaker Trucks

I saw these old trucks when visiting friends in Crawford County, Indiana, a place which is pure Americana. It has rolling hills, forests, the Ohio River, rusting vehicles, and very nice people. It also has a vibrant arts scene, I'm happy to say.
