I put this little pot in the sun and captured the red reflections. Copper is always a challenge to paint. It reacts to its surroundings and picks up so many different and unexpected colors.
This is absolutely beautiful. Your colors sing--the yellow-green against the reds and purple. Love the way you handled the light and shadows. Very nice painting!
This is wonderful, Carmen. You've really managed to catch the colours of the copper beautifully. I'm looking forward to seeing more paintings from you! The Mango above is also great, there's a little of Cezanne or indeed Gauguin about it...

Beautiful lighting! I love copper and I think the green bamboo? is a great addition to the painting.
