I looked down from my hotel window in Paris and saw these businessmen, briskly walking across the street. They presented a challenge in foreshortening, but I really like the point of view. I'm wondering what the guy on the left has in his backpack. Workout clothes? Lunch? Work papers? I'd like to think it's a bottle of wine, a hunk of bread, and some delicious French cheese.
Carmen, I have a lot of similar NYC photos, and wondered how to deal with them. You are an inspiration! I love, love, love the juxtaposition of the figures, and their arrangement on the white strips of the road. Perfect.
ReplyDeleteGreat perspective and you did a wonderful job on the foreshortening! Really good composition, too.
ReplyDeleteVery nice job on the foreshortening. Bet this was a fun one to paint; it's very strong.
ReplyDeleteGreat angle and perspective. Drew me right in.

ReplyDeleteLove the perspective- really interesting to look and wonder where they are scurrying off to. Great job.
ReplyDeleteI love the perspective of looking down on your subject. The stark lines with the figures going against "the current" is wonderful! Love it!
