Chickens are fun to paint. There is something comical about the way they strut around, not unlike the way some people walk. It's nice that the one in back buried its head in the straw so that our attention is drawn to the more colorful lady in front. I'm very pleased with the way this one turned out.

Superb "chikins" Carmen. They are fun to watch. We have a farmer down the road and around the bend who has chickens roaming the streets of downtown Norway at will. What a sight. And cars stop for chickens. Maybe we need an "I brake for chickens" bumpersticker sold at the next county fair. :)
